The European Project Office supports scientists in
planning and executing European research projects. The Office takes over
strategic, administrative and organisational tasks and acts as an
interface between the administration of the university, the project
partners, the European Commission and the National Contact Points.
In a joint effort, the European Project Office and the Science Support
Centre at the University of Duisburg-Essen won the competition
"Development of Project Management Structures at Universities in North
Rhine-Westphalia" initiated by the Ministry of Innovation, Science,
Research and Technology of North Rhine-Westphalia. As a result, the two
institutions have formed an alliance under the name of European Project
Office Rhein-Ruhr (EPORR) which is sponsored by the Ministry.
The European Project Office of TUDO is responsible for administrative
project management comprising communication, organisation, controlling.
It acts as leader of the WP on dissemination and exploitation of project
results.
