The Center for Energy and Resource Engineering (CERE), where Assoc Prof Nicolas von Solms is a member which will closely collaborate with the group PROCESS, also from DTU. CERE is a long establish research group and collaborates also with around 30 companies, mostly Scandinavian. It is one of the leading centers for thermodynamic and modelling studies of processes. One of their main focuses is in the field of capture and storage of CO₂. In which they have built-up a consortium with large industrial participation. CERE has pilot facilities which include CO₂ absorption, which will be essential for the effective implantation of the processes studied in this project.
